In the summer we know you are on the run and need to do things as quickly as possible. The Quick Reports feature on the homepage allows you to quickly login, run a report directly from the homepage and be on your way. Here are quick instructions on how to activate the Quick Reports widget and choose which reports you want to display – it's as easy as 1-2-3.

To use Quick Reports:

1. When you login to the 4.0 Homepage you have the option to "Select your Quick View" to choose which graphs or widgets you'd like to display in both the top and bottom window. Within this list simply choose "Quick Reports" and the Quick Reports Widget will display below (click to enlarge image below).
   
   
   
2. The Quick Reports Widget will display any reports that are in your "My Favorites" folder in the Report Center. To add reports to your favorites simply go to Tools > Report Center. From here you can select and drag any report into your "My Favorites" folder. Voila! All the Reports you've added to your "My Favorites" folder will now display in your home page Quick Reports (click to enlarge image below).
   
   
   
3. The third step is simply running your reports from the Quick Reports area. Just like the report center the report will run with the data of whatever filter you have loaded at that time. To run the report simply click on the report you want to run, choose the option in the "Select Layout" area and press the "Run Report" button. You're done!

Tip: The 'Date Created' column in the Quick Reports menu will tell you the last time your report was generated.

Many Firefox users may be familiar with the browser's default security settings that include deleting encrypted cached files from the user's system each time the browser is closed. Making the following update to your browser's Configuration Settings will prevent Firefox from deleting the encrypted Thriva.swf file which allows the Thriva system to load much quicker each time.

To update your Firefox's Configuration Settings:

1. Open your Firefox browser
2. Type in "about:config" into the URL text box
3. Click "yes" at the warning screen to proceed to the settings screen
4. Locate the Preference Name "browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl setting line item (hint: they are listed alphabetically); you will see that the value is set to "false"
5. Click once to highlight the entire line; once highlighted, double click to set this value to "true"
6. Load the Thriva management system and then close the browser. Load it again and you will find that it loads much faster.
   
   
   

For Internet Explorer (IE) users, IE default security settings allow for encrypted pages to save to the cache, so unless you have changed your IE security settings no updates are required.

To verify/update your Internet Explorer (IE) Configuration Settings:

1. Open your IE browser
2. Select "Tools" for top navigation menu; select Internet Options (Tools>>Options>>Internet Options)
3. Select the Advanced Tab and scroll down to the Security options
4. Confirm that the check box next to "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" does not have a green check in the option box. If there is a check, highlight and click once to uncheck
5. Lastly, select either "OK" or "Apply" at the bottom of the dialog box

I joined The Active Network as an Educate sales consultant in August of 2007 after teaching 4th grade in Los Angeles and first grade in New York City. In 2008 I moved into the Camps department as an Account Manager. In this role, I work directly with clients to help make their camps more successful and the registration process as efficient as possible.

I work in the San Diego office and love the variety that each day brings. I interact daily with different directors and coaches, and enjoy hearing all about their camps and events. It’s wonderful to talk to such enthusiastic customers and be surrounded by positive co-workers!

Outside of work I have developed a passion – slight obsession- with triathlons. I picked up my first sponsorship this year and won a few sprint races. Currently I’m training for longer distances, and have a half Ironman at the end of July and a full Ironman in November. Needless to say, most of my free time is spent swimming, biking, and running! I also tend to squeeze in some skiing at Mammoth Mountain, which, believe it or not, is only 6 hours away. I love espresso in the morning, basset hounds, and yes, I love any kind of camp!
