As always, our development team is hard at work building tools for the future and making adjustments based on your feedback. Here's a look at what we're working on:
eCamp Release
There is one release for eCamp planned in the next two weeks and a release planned for the management system in September.
Based on great feedback from our camps and their camp families, we are integrating photo cropping into the eCamp photo purchasing process along with a streamlined check-out process. These new enhancements will provide parents the ability to:
- Add multiple photos to the cart at once
- Crop photos exactly the way they want
- See a warning if they are zoomed in too close for their selected print size
- Save photos to their cart and come back later

September Management System Release
Throughout this summer, we'll be working on a number of exciting updates available for your use in the fall and your 2010 season. Updates will include "behind-the-scenes" performance enhancements, new management system tools as well as a new program to help you drive retention and increase registration.
Communication Center: HTML Email
One of the most requested items--the ability to create HTML emails in the management system like you would in a Word document. With the Communication Center adjustments, you can now create great looking emails with minimal effort or time including:
- ability to easily build HTML emails from within the system
- preloaded HTML templates
- ability to upload your own graphics
- ability to "text search" your email subjects headings to easily find previously created emails
They're Back: 3.1 Homepage Graphs
While we've received a great response to the additional "widgets" and graphs on the 4.0 Thriva homepage; many of you have asked the question "Can you bring back the 3.1 Graphs too"?
The answer is a resounding yes! We'll be adding the 3.1 graphs back as an additional option available from your homepage drop-down list. This way you can utilize all of the graphing views from 4.0 in addition to the graph views from 3.1.
New Incentive Program for Camps and Campers: ActiveAdvantage
We’re really excited about the new ActiveAdvantage program offer that will provide our camp clients a free advertising opportunity while providing campers registration discounts off your camp to encourage retention without costing you a dime! More info to come but here’s a teaser.
ActiveAdvantage is a premiere membership program used by hundreds of thousands for special deals and discounts on registering for events and other purchases throughout the US.
Firstly, we’re going to add the ability for your participants to use their ActiveAdvantage membership to get up to $5 off the cost when registering for your camps (ActiveAdvantage pays the $5 – you still receive your entire fee!).
Additionally, campers who return for the second year will receive an even bigger ActiveAdvantage credit providing greater incentive to return to your camp the following year. We’re still working out all the details so stay tuned for further details.
