We recently hosted our first "Best Practices Webinar" series. Webinar topics will include technology and product enhancements, marketing services and case studies based on clients' successes. Each topic will be geared towards offering you insights into ways to better manage your camp programs from start to finish, season to season.
March's webinar on eCamp® Services featured Camp Waldemar and how they have leveraged eCamp photo, email and new page services to generate a strong sense of community along with an additional revenue stream.

Promote E-Check as Your Preferred Payment Option
In today's economy, identifying small savings can have an impact. A great opportunity for your camp to save money is promoting E-Check as your preferred payment method when registering online. When participants and parents choose to pay by E-Check versus by credit card, your camp pays a lower processing fee, saving your camp money on each E-Check transaction.
Get Started: Simply promote E-check as your preferred payment option on your website, camp registration and marketing materials.
Help our camp save money, please pay by E-Check! E-Check is easy--

Promoting Money-Saving Tips to Help Families Save for Camp

River Valley Ranch Takes the Bull by the Horns
River Valley Ranch (RVR) in Carroll County, Maryland, hosts overnight residential camps offering exciting outdoor experiences in a wholesome family environment to over 10,000 youth and adults annually. To stem the economy's side effect on their many summer camp programs, RVR has posted money-saving tips on 10 Ways to Save for Camp, offering suggestions on how families can save to pay for their camp experience.
Changes in a family's buying habits from foregoing a designer cup of coffee to hosting a garage sale can quickly add up to a savings of hundreds of dollars. Consider adding your own cost-saving ideas to our website, marketing materials or sending an email campaign to last year's participants!

Mike Moronczyk, Director, eCamp Services

I joined the Active Network as a CampRegister sales consultant in November of 2006. In 2008 I was promoted to the Director of eCamp Services. In this role, I work directly with the sales team, clients and prospects to educate them on the value that eCamp Services can bring to their camp programs.
What I love about my job is the diversity from day to day. From project planning, to product development, to marketing, sales and customer service, I'm heavily involved in managing the eCamp service business from end-to-end.
Outside of work: I enjoy camping with my family and friends. I am also a dog lover and proud owner of Prince, a one-year-old Peka-Pug (½ Pekinese and ½ Pug). There is a strong community of other dedicated Pug owners in the Seattle area so you'll find me at events like "Pug Mania", "Pugapalooza" and "Pugoween".
