Leading Camps Continue Switching to CampRegister
Religious camps around the country partner with CampRegister for the total camp & conference center solution
BOTHELL, WA – September 28, 2006 – In the past six weeks, top religious camps around the country have signed with CampRegister for online registration, management software, and payment processing, as well as the company’s eCamp photo gallery and one-way-email services for parents.
“The Thriva management system has made it possible for our camp to focus on communication, customer service, and planning the best programming for our summers. It used to take months to enter all of our paper registrations,” explains Sarah Gruesner, Assistant Director of Administration at Herzl Camp. “Now it takes moments,” Gruesner adds, “while CampRegister takes care of the data entry through their quick and easy online registration process, we have the time to focus on what is really important – our families.”
“Our CampRegister division has flourished over the last 3 years because after going through in-depth comparisons, camps are confident that it is the best technology solution available to them,” explains CampRegister co-founder Matt Ehrlichman, “Thanks to the tremendous partnerships we develop with our camp customers, CampRegister’s solutions are designed specifically for camps, allowing each client to operate more effectively and provide better experiences for campers and their parents. We have long had success with religious camps and the last several months continue to show that after a thorough evaluation, these types of organizations are looking for a partner like CampRegister.”
Impact 2818, a Christian camp and conference center that has around 5,000 annual registrants, has used CampRegister for years. Shan Hartman, Impact 2818’s Senior Program Manager, explains, “Our systems are better, therefore we are serving our families and our churches better.” Hartman adds, “CampRegister has literally allowed us to be a better ministry for what we do.”
In the last two months top Jewish camps such as Camp Young Judaea, Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, and Herzl Camp switched from their previous solutions to CampRegister.
CampRegister extended its success in working with UMC, Presbyterian, Lutheran, and other Christian camps as well. Pleasant Vineyard Ministries, ReDefine Ministries, Lutherhill, First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs, and the SE United Methodist Church in North Carolina were among those to join CampRegister’s services. Additionally, Word of Life, one of the largest Christian camping programs in the country with 15,000 annual campers, signed a three year contract to use CampRegister. This success follows the Christian Sports Recreational Ministry selecting CampRegister as its technology partner to recommend to its member church camps, events, and leagues.
